 New Zealand win South Korea in World Cup debut

New Zealand beat South Korea 81/88 in their opening match at the U-19 World Cup.

The World Youth Basketball Championship will be held in Egypt from Saturday to July 9.

New Zealand ended the first quarter ahead of 15/21, before the Korean team reduced the score in the second quarter to 39/40, and the first half ended with the result.
 In the third game, the Korean team took the lead in 57/65, before New Zealand regained its balance and ended the game with a 81/88 win.

Both teams are in Group A along with Argentina and France.
